We are the proud parents of our 7-month-
old baby boy. I have been exclusively
breastfeeding my baby for 6 months and
continue to do so. I get a lot of suggestions
to introduce solids to the baby. However,
I understand the importance of breast
milk and the nutritional value that it offers
to our baby’s initial development. I am
a working mother and I have been told
to start weaning as it can get difficult to
manage work and feed the baby round the
clock. But the idea of just filling my baby’s
stomach and not adding a nutritional
diet does not sit right with me. Even my
